Milena Dryza
Senior Associate

Milena is a Senior Associate at Madderns. She has had the privilege of working in leading intellectual property firms, as well as in-house at a global biotechnology company.

Milena’s experience includes identifying and capturing intellectual property; assessing and developing the commercial value of patent portfolios; drafting and prosecuting patent applications; developing effective strategies to navigate competitor’s patents; advising on intellectual property issues in collaborations; and effectively sharing her intellectual property knowledge with academics, research scientists and senior managers.

Milena especially enjoys, and has a wealth of experience in, running oppositions and re-examinations before the Australian Patent Office, as well as oppositions before the European Patent Office. She has also assisted in a number of complex litigation cases before the Australian Federal Court.

Outside of work, Milena’s interests include cooking, yoga, playing the piano, and spending time with her family.
