Claire has recently joined Madderns as a Trainee Trade Marks Attorney and will be working towards registration as a Trade Marks Attorney within our specialist team.

Claire’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Media, both from the University of Adelaide. Claire also completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the College of Law South Australia in early 2020.

Claire is a qualified lawyer, bringing with her two years of experience at IP Australia in the Designs team where she worked with private applicants and attorneys to assess their Australian design applications and assist in overcoming legal issues with respect to these. Prior to this, Claire had also worked in both family and commercial law roles in Adelaide.

Having grown up in the Barossa Valley and with experience working at a cellar door restaurant in the Adelaide Hills during her university years, Claire is passionate about food and wine and completed her WSET Level 1 Award in Wines in 2023. She hopes to complete Level 2 in the near future.

Outside of work, you’ll find Claire playing and coaching on the netball court, at the beach with her family and friends or enjoying a good cheese plate.
