Congratulations to long-standing Partner Mark O’Donnell, who has taken on the role of Managing Partner from Jeff Holman.
Jeff has led Madderns for the past four years, following two years as Deputy Managing Partner, overseeing a period of growth in both our clientele and our staff locally and nationally. After showing great leadership during his term as Managing Partner, Jeff has decided to step down from this role and focus on his clients as we continue to expand. He will remain as a Director.
Mark joined Madderns in 2006 and has been leading our Life Sciences and Chemistry team, a role which will now be handed over to Jeff. Mark has a deep knowledge and understanding of the Madderns business and people and is highly regarded in the IP profession as well as by our clients.
Mark has worked in the IP field for more than 30 years, gaining experience first as a patent examiner with the Federal Government, then as an in-house patent consultant with Sirotech Limited (the former technology transfer office of CSIRO) and as a patent attorney in private practice. He is regularly named in Managing IP’s IP Stars as a Patent Star and in the IAM Patent 1000 rankings as a recommended individual.
Mark is passionate about the future of Madderns and we are very confident that we are in safe and expert hands under Mark’s guidance.
