Madderns is thrilled to welcome Fabiola Dos Santos to our team as a Senior Associate Trade Marks Attorney.
With over 15 years of experience in Australia and overseas, Fabiola is a seasoned IP professional specialising in trade marks and brand protection. With extensive experience encompassing brand clearance searches, trade mark prosecution, and comprehensive portfolio management, Fabiola is adept at enforcing rights through opposition and removal proceedings.
Fluent in Spanish as well as English, Fabiola has managed international trade mark portfolios across a diverse range of industries, including fashion, cosmetics, entertainment, food, technology, and healthcare, where her strong relationships with overseas attorneys and in-house counsel have been instrumental in achieving successful outcomes.
As an active member of the trade mark community, Fabiola regularly contributes to local and international publications and is involved with the International Trademark Association (INTA), currently serving on the Unreal Campaign Committee, along with the Interamerican IP Association (ASIPI).
Fabiola has a Masters of Intellectual Property Law from the University of Melbourne (2011) and a Bachelor of Laws – Juris Doctor from the Metropolitan University in Caracas, Venezuela (2007).
Fabiola will be a fantastic addition to our team, bringing her high level of industry knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm to Madderns. We look forward to sharing Fabiola’s expertise with our clients. She will also be joining a group of our attorneys travelling to San Diego to attend the INTA Conference later in May.
