Congratulations to Professor Peter Murphy, leader of the Energy and Advanced Manufacturing strand of the Future Industries Institute, at the University of South Australia, who has been awarded a prestigious 2016 Clunies Ross Award, in the innovation category.
The award honours Professor Murphy’s research leadership and the work of his team in translating innovative thin-film technology into the world’s first lightweight plastic automotive mirror, developed in collaboration with industry partner SMR Automotive.
